Is she an Angel or is she a Queen?
Her beauty is unlike anything I have ever seen.
Neither the actress on the movie screen.
Nor the best thing that you can come up with in a dream.
Can compare to her beauty that is so supreme.
So is she Angel or is she a Queen?
Is she an Angel with hidden wings?
Fallen down to fill me with warmth from the heavens she brings.
Whenever I look into her eyes I see stories and hints.
That she might be a Queen looking for a prince.
Although her heart belongs to another.
She will always have a special place in my heart like all the others.
Whom have fractured my heart with many holes.
And that's where there memories resides.
This blog is a way for me to share my Islamic view on life, reflecting on my past, and present experiences. Keep in mind I am not a scholar, nor am I an Imam. I am just and 18 years old muslim man.

The One
I really think she is the one
I really think she is my number one
She is gonna be my future queen
Her beauty hasn’t been matched by anything I have seen
She has a one shiny smile
You can spot it out from as far as a mile
She is got that special power
She can make everything seem so beautiful, even in a man’s
darkest hour
Just one look into her eyes
And my heart jumps up to the blue skies
One day I promise you will see
You will see me get on one knee
Get on one knee and ask her “will you marry me?”
Does Love Exist?
I started writing this poem while I was going through some tough times but I didn't get to finish it, then when I got back to it my feelings were completely different so that is why it starts as kind of gloomy and ends with a sense of HOPE. I hope you guys like it.
Does Love Exist?
A question that spread in my mind just like the mist
Maybe it doesn’t exist
And maybe it just comes and goes just like a guest
But Allah knows best
And He said it does exist
So all I can do is wait for it to hit me just like the rest
But what exactly is it?
They say it is only describable by a poet
But a poet once said that you will always get burned by love
So I guess I better prepare my glove
And hope for when it hit me
It will be for a girl that can see
How much I truly love she
note: this is not the final version, it still needs some work, stay tone for the new and improved one.

Mother's Day
As promised here is a translation of my poem.
Mother, Mother, Oh my Mother
Oh my mother lets go
for today is your day
today I recite to you my poem
and wish for you a very happy day
for today is your day
eighteen years you have watched me grow and grow
you have watched me grow when I was a small child
you watched me grow when I was a handsome teenager
you raised me to grow and become a respectful man
so today I thank you many thanks
and ask Allah to help me become a man who is respectful, good to his parent, and thankful
today is your day my mother
we all are here to celebrate it
making duaa to Allah and saying
Oh Allah, have mercy on my parents as they have raised me when I was a child
Mother, Mother, Oh my Mother
Oh my mother lets go
for today is your day
today I recite to you my poem
and wish for you a very happy day
for today is your day
eighteen years you have watched me grow and grow
you have watched me grow when I was a small child
you watched me grow when I was a handsome teenager
you raised me to grow and become a respectful man
so today I thank you many thanks
and ask Allah to help me become a man who is respectful, good to his parent, and thankful

Arab Mother Day
As a way to celebrate the Arab Mother's Day that was two days ago I have wrote my first Arabic poem to my mother. I would like to dedicate it to All the mother's of the world.

I wish you a very blessed birthday
This poem is dedicated to my big sister that I love so much for the sake of Allah. Happy birthday Gigi.
My dear beloved big sister
Today
we all have gathered here to say
that we wish you a very blessed birthday
today
we all have gathered here to celebrate
a moment we all experienced
we have gathered here to make this day
a one you will always remember
although we are not related by blood
the bond we share can never be cut
they can use the sharpest blade
they can even try a gurnaid
but it still won't break
In you your life you have made many mistakes
but Allah always forgives and forsakes
we all have gathered here today
to raise our hands, make duaa, and say
Oh Allah you are the most merciful
your mercy has fallen علي الكل (on everyone)
we ask you because we are weak and forgetful
that you bless our sister with moments that are most beautiful
and help her refrain from actions that are most unforgivable
and bring her heart closer to you
so it may become even more pure

Why do I sin?
In the midst of my inner strugle between good and evil, I came up with this poem. I hope you like it.
Why do I sin?
Why do I listen to that Jinn?
Why do I let him in?
Inside my head
Where he can manipulate everything
Starting with the small things
And going to the ones that are big
Khalas, it is over, I won’t let him win
So why do I sin?
Is it something within?
Is it a part of me?
A part that want to see
A part that want to experience
What is in Allah’s eyes so hideous
Khalas, it is done
I am getting out my water gun
To clean out my heart
From everything that hurt
So why do I sin?
Looks like I am still the same
Running after this dunnia, and its fame
I turned out to be so lame
Thinking that life is just a game
But it is not
Life is a test
To find out who among us is the best
In this dunnia we are just guests
Traveling to meet the best of the best
Whose mercy covered the earth from the east to the west
Yet I still sin
But it is ok
Because with Allah’s mercy
There is still a chance that I might win
Oh Allah, you are the most forgiving
Please forgive us for forgetting
Everything to us You have given

I am sorry
This was a sad attempt to fix a terrible poem wrote by the guys to the girls, in response to a beautiful poem written by Alex.
This is my apology
for that terrible melody
you know I can never give you a Jihadi heartin
even if you don't stand behind the curtin
when my boys are with us prayin
you know i will wake you up for fajr
and even remind you with the layalen a'shr
because I want to share with you that ajr
I promise to take you to do Hajj
yes I will take you to Maka
and we will make twaff around the Ka'ba
and make duaa to each grandma
that Allah will bless him with his heaven
after all He is the most givin
believe me, I would know because He has given
given you to me
so yes, I am so happy
Please don't ever say hi
don't even say goodbye
or else I will start to cry
I don't even want to hear hay
because all you have to say
is alsalam alikom wa rahmat Allah wa brakato
and please don't cut it in half
or else I will just start to laugh
because I want the whole blessing from you
before I die and turn blue

My future Queen
My sister in Islam Alex has wrote a poem telling us what she is looking for in a husband. It was really inspiring that I decided to write a poem about what I am looking for in a wife. I hope you guys like it.
Many people have asked before
what kind of wife I'm looking for?
honestly
I am looking for a nikabi
but I might steal for a hijabi
even if her father was Iraqi
as long as she help me memorize my Qurani
she wouldn't need to clean or cook
she can relax and read a book
I don't even care about good looks
it really doesn't matter to me
after all if she dresses modestly
she would be really dear to my قلبي (heart)
as long as she has a good heart and honesty
I will clean and cook without her asking me
people might think I'm a مسكين (helpless)
but they don't know the unseen
they don't know what's in the heart of that مسكين
it is filled with love not سككين (knives)
I am not afraid of a gun or a sword
after all she was chosen by my lord
to me out of all of the مسلمين (Muslims)
so I can complete my دين (religion)
A letter to my Grandfather
I was inspired by this poem when I heard about the death of my friend's grandmother. When I heard that I remembered my dear grandfather who died two years ago. I started thinking about all the good times we had together, and all the things that I wish I can tell him. At a point I started thinking to my self "what would I tell him if he came to me in one of my dreams?" and there is what I came up with:
Gedo, Oh GedoI really, really miss youI wish I can be up there with youbut what can I sayI have to stayI have to wait until that daywhen my mission is finishedand I get to say hooraybut hopefully after that I will sayأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله و أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله (the shahada)by the waythere are three things I have to saythat is before you go on your wayfirst thing I owe you an apologyfor every tear came down with agonybecause I now know you never needed my agonyI now know what I had to doI had to read the Qura'n over youso here is a promise from me to youI will finish the Qura'n remembering youأما الحاجة التانية فأنا كنت عايز أقلك (as for the second thing, I just wanted to say to you)thank youthank you for each and every mangoI ate without saying thank youto Allahو بعدين ليك يا جدو (and then to you Gedo)أخر حاجة قبل ما تمشي (last thing before you go)إبعت سلامي (send my salams)to my other جدي (Gedi) (the "i" here instead of the "o" is because of arabic grammar)and tell him he will always be right here inside my قلبي (my heart)جدي has once told methat every Sudanese person is part of this familyso alhamd lel Allah for this blessed familyand may his mercy be on each and every one of this family

The transition from a Cairo man into a Muslim man
A wise friend her name is Riham Osman, has once told me that every one has a revert story. This poem I wrote to talk about my story. It basically talks about how I started out when I came her to America, being the naive boy that I was, and then going to high school and getting corrupted, and then end up in college where I get surrounded by the best friends a man can ever have, friends that have pulled me out of the dark and into the shining light of Islam.
four years ago
when I came here from Cairo
I went to a school named Glasgow
at the time I was just your typical Cairo man
I used to think that school is cool
I used to think that every one's heart was pure
I also used to think that pie
is equal to three point one four one five
but that soon had to change
it all went down the drains
when I went to high school and became insane
I went from your typical Cairo man
to becoming your typical American man
I thought that I was too cool for school
I thought that no one's heart was pure
I also thought that pie
was another way to rate the lame
in that weird rating game
but that too had to change
I had to lock it in a box with chains
and throw it in the river
because it wouldn't fit in the drains
Now, I think that school is not just cool
it is the place where I hang out with those pure hearted people
that you call fools
and if you are wondering what I think about pie?
I say it is another way to get high
high in your level of Iman is what I say
If you give just a little piece
to a hungry man living in peace
Allah will send you His peace
I know that I may sound like a shaikh or an Imam
giving a khotba about Iman
don't let me fool you with my sense of Iman
after all I am just a typical Muslim man
so alhamd lel Allah for the blessing of Islam
and may Allah increase our Iman

Love for the sake of Allah
![]() |
| Just a small group of the people I love |
I am in love
I am insanely in love
I am insanely in love with 17 girls
17 of the most beautiful, most thoughtful, and most modest girls
you think I am crazy
don't judge me yet
because I am in love with with 12 boys as well
12 of the most handsome, most kind, and most humble boys
If a day goes by
without me saying hi
to each and everyone of these girls and guys
I just start to cry
until the next day comes by
when I get to say hi
but never good bye
because the love that I have for these guys
is more than that which I have for my fries
I love you guys
for the sake of He who blessed us with fries
Allah subhanho wa ta'la
