Arab Mother Day

As a way to celebrate the Arab Mother's Day that was two days ago I have wrote my first Arabic poem to my mother. I would like to dedicate it to All the mother's of the world.

أمي, أمي, يا أمي

هيا بنا هلومي

فاليوم يومك يا أمي

اليوم أتلوا عليك قصيدتي

و أتمنا لك يوما سعيدا

فاليوم يومك يا أمي

ثمانية عشر عاما شاهدتني أنموا و أنموا

شاهدتني أنموا حين كنت طفلا صغيرا

شاهدتني أنموا حين كنت شابا وسيما

ربيتني لأنموا و أكون رجلا صالحا

فاليوم أشكرك شكرا جزيلا

و أدعوا الله علي أن يوعينني علي أن أكون ولدا صالحا, بارا لوالديه, شكورا

اليوم يومك يا أمي

نحتفل به جميعا

ندعوا الله و نقول

الهم أرحمهما كما ربياني صغيرا

True definition of love

عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه, عن النبي صلي الله عليه و سلم قال: لا يؤمن أحدكم حتي يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه

Narrated Anas may Allah be pleased with him that the prophet of Allah Mohamed peace and prayers be on him has said: None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself



Definition of a Muslim and a Muhajir

عن عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما, عن النبي صلي الله عليه و سلم قال: المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه و يده, و المهاجر من هجر ما نهي الله عنه. صدق رسول الله صلي الله عليه و سلم

narrated by Ibn Umar may Allah be pleased with them, that the messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and prayers be on him) has said: A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands. And a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden

Today

we all have gathered here to say

that we wish you a very blessed birthday

today

we all have gathered here to celebrate

a moment we all experienced

we have gathered here to make this day

a one you will always remember

although we are not related by blood

the bond we share can never be cut

they can use the sharpest blade

they can even try a gurnaid

but it still won't break

In you your life you have made many mistakes

but Allah always forgives and forsakes

we all have gathered here today

to raise our hands, make duaa, and say

Oh Allah you are the most merciful

your mercy has fallen علي الكل (on everyone)

we ask you because we are weak and forgetful

that you bless our sister with moments that are most beautiful

and help her refrain from actions that are most unforgivable

and bring her heart closer to you

so it may become even more pure

Five pilars of Islam

عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال, قال رسول الله صلي الله عليه و سلم: بني الإسلام علي خمس: شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله و أن محمدا رسول الله, و إقام الصلاة, و أيتاء الزكاة, و صوم رمضان, و حج البيت لمن إستطاع إليه سبيلا

narrirated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace be upon him said): Islam was build upon five things: the tistamony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhamed is his massanger, establishing the prayer, giving the Zakat (mandatory Charity), fasting Ramadan, and visting the house of Allah (the Ka'ba) to those who are able.



تافسير سورة العلق (explination of surah al-3laq)

Over my winter break Allah subhanho wa ta3ala has blessed me with the ability to wake up early enough to go to fajr prayer at the masjid. Alhamd lel Allah it was a great bleassing from Allah subhanaho wa ta3ala. Allah has also blessed me with an amazing brother his name is brother sherif. Brother Sherif used to sit with me and two of my friends from college after fajr prayer and talk to us about religion. One day he talked to us about the importance of not just gaining knowledge but also spreading it. That day he made us promis him that what ever knowldge we gain from him we have to share it with however how many people we can. That was one of the reasons why I have created this blog to share that knowldge. Today I will start with the tafsir of surah al-3alaq.

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. In the name of Allah the most gracious, the most mercyful.
First lets talk about the signifcant of the title of the surah العلق. This word comes from the root word معلق which means hanging. This is one of the mirecals of the Quran in sience. العلق has two meanings in the dictionary one is a leach and the other is a clut. In the Quran it is the second meaning that is meant. It is the clut that is hanging in the woman's wond. It is hanging in the mercy of Allah SWT because if it drops then this is what we would call a miss carage. Even before your soul was put in you were in the lords mercy hanging not knowing what will be your fate.

some of my friends might be thinking that I am a hypocrite right now, because they know I don't listen to music. My view on music is not that it is haram (I know some scholars disagree with me) but I chose not to listen to it because i haven't found any good music. In my opinion not all music is bad, just most of them are. one of the good ones that I admire a lot is this one. I hope you like it as well.
